Common Inquiries

How do I register to bid?

On Live Auctions or Upcoming Auctions, open a lot and choose Sign in / create account. Complete your real contact details and accept that auction’s terms. Your bidder profile starts Pending. Either designated OnlyCows admin can approve it; one approval is sufficient. You must accept the terms for each auction.

What are the bid increments?

Each lot shows its opening bid and minimum increment. Invited, approved test bidders can submit a private maximum once bidding opens. Automatic proxy bids use only the amount needed to lead, within that maximum.

How does payment work?

All payments are offline. No credit-card information, deposit or card hold is collected on this website. Test bids and premiums are simulated and create no payment obligation. For future real confirmed sales, the buyer pays the animal price directly to the seller and a mandatory additional 4% buyer premium separately to OnlyCows. The buyer arranges and pays for transport directly with the seller.

How do I check approval and my maximum?

Sign in and open an auction lot to see your bidder-profile and auction-registration status. Approved bidders can see their own private maximum and whether they are leading. Admins can review bidder profiles in the OnlyCows Wix dashboard.

What is the auction reserve?

A lot may have a private reserve set by the seller. The lot shows whether its reserve is met; the reserve amount and other bidders’ private maxima are not published. A sale requires owner confirmation.
